Mintex Introduces New Bake Parts

HARTLEPOOL, U.K. — Braking specialist TMD Friction UK has introduced nine new brake pad, disc and drum references to its iconic Mintex brand product ranges, providing garages with the option of fitting renowned Mintex quality on more vehicles than ever before.

TMD Friction UK's ongoing commitment to research and development has delivered new parts for various popular passenger car applications, with five new Mintex-brand brake pads now available including MDB3339 for Ford Ranger trucks (2011-), MDB3476 and MDB4289 for Tesla Model 3 and Model Y (2017-), and MDB4177 for KIA Picanto (2017-) cars.

The introduction of new Mintex brake pad MDB4281 offers a new aftermarket pad for a range of Audi cars, including 2015 model year Audi A6, A7 Sportback, A8, e-tron and e-tron Sportback, Q7 and Q8, plus Volkswagen Touareg models.

Two new Mintex brake discs are introduced in the latest range expansion with MDC2945C fitting new Land Rover Defender, Land Rover Discovery and previous-generation Range Rover and Range Rover Sport cars. For Toyota Aygo X cars, Mintex has released MDC3175C.

In the latest Mintex brake drum range expansion, two new parts are available including MBD364 for various Toyota light commercial vehicles, such as the Hiace and Regius van and bus models (2003-), and MBD427 for Nissan Juke and Juke Van vehicles (2010-).

All Mintex brake pads and discs are designed to meet the exacting demands of complex modern braking systems. Each product is engineered to provide friction stability, comfort and consistently high performance over a wide temperature range and stopping distances.

The new references are accessible via the brand's online catalogue Brakebook, by entering the Mintex part number. The expert search function also allows searching by product criteria such as width, height, thickness, drum diameter and many other criteria, making the identification of brake parts as easy as possible.

Mintex Brakebook allows users to create catalogues tailored to their individual requirements, whether for the entire product range, a selection of products or even for special models.

All new references have also been added to TecDoc and MAM cataloguing systems.
