A 20-year-old woman died after a brake drum flew out of the back of a pick-up truck, breaking the windshield of the car she was in.

The Ringgold police chief says it happened Wednesday morning on I-75 Southbound.

According to a family member's social media, Autumn McClure was taking her little brother to daycare when a 30-35 pound brake drum flew off the truck and went through the windshield.

They say she died before emergency services could arrive.

Her funeral will be tomorrow at Williamson and Son's funeral home in Soddy-Daisy from 4-8:00pm.
